Mooring Bridles with chain centre sections are ideal for mooring onto a steel ring on a pile mooring or onto the steel ring on the top of your mooring buoy. 12mm chain with 24mm Anchorplait is suitable for vessels up to 40 feet.

Secure one end to your main cleat, pass the other end through the ring and back to the main cleat. Make sure you position the chain so that it will take the load on the ring in order to save your warp from chafe.

The loop splice option is ideal for quick and easy fixed length mooring bridles. The whipping option allows for fitting protective hose after the splicing has been completed.

The length of each Anchorplait to Chain Splice is approximately 400mm so e.g. if you select 2 metres of 12mm chain then the exposed length in between the two splices will be 1.2 metres.
