Jimmy Green Marine are proud to announce their sponsorship of RS800 1163. We have been looking for an opportunuity to bring our yacht rigging expertise to the performance dinghy market for some time. The sponsorship deal provides the Jimmy Green Team with an ideal platform to hone our dinghy rigging skills. The RS800 is a twin trapeze asymmetric dinghy offering a full UK and European circuit. The one-design, weight equalised dinghy ensures that although personal performance is one of the driving forces behind results, the boat needs to be in perfect working order to maximise what is available as there is no access to better sails or masts.

Initially the RS will be sailed by James Green and Jamie Trewick. Both helms have extensive hiking boat CV’s and proven results but early indications show that there will probably be a period of adjustment before they can start to get the best out of the boat. Their first event will be the ’Gul Grand Prix’ event at Beer. Best of luck to the lads as they may need it!!

Beating The Easter Rush!

Easter is fast approaching and sailors up and down the country are all putting finishing touches to their craft in readiness for the new season. Jimmy Green Marine is typically busy at this time of year as we look to service all our orders in time for launch deadlines. We allow 5-7 days for standard delivery. If you wish to guarantee your goods arrive in time then you can jump the queue by selecting one of the speedier services which will bring your order to the top of the pile. Our last carrier collection for Easter delivery will be in the afternoon of Wednesday the 4th of April. RYA Dinghy Show & New Crewsaver Clothing

Well we had a great Dinghy Show, good to see some of you there, there were some excellent stands, talks and demos.

We’ve now added the new Crewsaver clothing we were showcasing on our stand, and you can find them in the online shop with Therma Control here and Spray Tops here, plus Hiking Shorts, Buoyancy Aids and Sailing Gloves.
