Anchor Shackles
Shackles are an uncomplicated link between your anchor and chain (providing the pin is secured shut by either Monel seizing wire or locktite). With no articulating or swivelling parts they are ideal for when Bow rollers do not need to be considered. we recomend that you use the certified shackles for use on bower and kedge set-ups as the guaranteed strength is much more reliable than a standard shackle with no certification.
If you are considering using shackles but are unsure whether they will fit then simply place your order and select 'pending phone payment'. Then call and reuest a compatibiltiy check before paying. This is most important with certified shackles as the narrow jaw width combined with large pin make it more difficult get it right.
