Shipping

We cannot send flares, paint/antifouling or fire extinguishers by Royal Mail. Any doubts about carriage please contact us on 01297 20744 - we are here to help

Overnight Delivery

• UK Mainland Only
• Is on the next working day, provided you have ordered before noon
• This is because our carrier collection is quite early in the afternoon

2-Day Delivery

• UK Mainland Only
• Is therefore on the second working day after you placed your order, provided you have ordered before noon
• So e.g. if you place an order on Tuesday afternoon/evening and select 2 Day it will be delivered by Friday

3-Day Delivery

• UK Mainland Only
• Is therefore on the third working day after you placed your order, provided you have ordered before noon

Royal Mail and Standard Delivery

• UK mainland pleased allow up to 7 working days

There are different charges for

1. Scottish Highlands [including some postcodes classed by our carrier as 2 day surcharge areas]
2. Islands including Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands
3. Popular European Destinations

We use Royal Mail where indicated and either Interlink or Nightfreight on heavier parcels. Carrier deliveries require a signature unless you tick the appropriate box in checkout indicating that it is safe to leave the parcel. Please restrict your instructions for the delivery driver to one short sentence if possible

Please note that if you are in a surcharged delivery area then you may enter a separate delivery address e.g. at work which may not be surcharged. This is also a good idea for valuable parcels requiring a signature

Security Policies

Making a Purchase

Making a purchase couldn't be easier, just browse the store, and add any items you wish to buy to the shopping basket using the "Buy" button - When ordering make sure you have ordered the correct length, colour etc.

You will need to set the shipping destination before you can proceed to the checkout. This is done in the 'View Basket' page. Setting the shipping destination allows us to calculate the shipping charge.

Once your shipping has been set click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few relevant details that we need to complete the order.

We Accept Credit Card Payment

When your confirmation of order is received, this indicates that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in case either we have made a mistake in pricing, or we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Credit Card Security

When the order is placed on our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are not held in clear text on any website. We do not see your number or store it anywhere. The money transaction is handled by "Barclaycard Business ePDQ". Neither Jimmy Green Marine nor Barclaycard pass your details to any third party.

Tax Charges

All prices include VAT where applicable. Deliveries to the Channel Islands and outside the European Union will be VAT free.

We regret we are unable to ship goods to North America.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will endeavour to get it to you as soon as possible. We will contact you with the option of cancelling if you would rather not wait.

Guarantee

We endeavour to supply all goods exactly as advertised on our website and promise not to 'switch sell' i.e. substitute another similar product, without prior consent.

Returns Policy

Your rights to return goods are protected under the "EU Distance Selling Directive" which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm

If you are returning an article of clothing out of choice and not because of a fault then your money will be refunded less a £5 administrative charge.

Cookies

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping basket and to store delivery address etc. However, your credit card details are not seen or stored by us at all. Cookies are also used after you have logged on as part of the process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to "Tools - Internet options - Privacy" and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies you will be unable to place orders or benefit from other features that use cookies.
